We also offer one-to-one guidance from qualified careers advisers, who will help you map out your personal progression plan based on your ambitions, strengths, and experience. Whether you’re aiming to become a senior carer, team leader, or care manager, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

We offer both care apprenticeships and standalone diplomas, so that no care practitioner is left behind. If you don’t meet the eligibility criteria for an apprenticeship, we’ll still support you with alternative pathways to gain the qualifications you need. We believe no one in the care sector should be held back by funding rules or formal entry requirements and we’ll help you find a route that works for you.

The Skills Consortium

Qualification Levels

  • The Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care is designed to guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the adult care workforce. The qualification contains a wide range of optional units which will allow opportunity for competence to be demonstrated in a wide range of contexts. (46 Credit)

  • This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in a senior role with adults in adult care environments. (58 credits)

  • This qualification is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work in a senior role with adults in an adult care setting. (70 credits)

  • This qualification aims to support the development of registered managers of adult social care services, specifically those new to their role. (95 credits)
